Mrs. Epstein has taught for forty years -- 20 in the public schools and 20 at the University of Washington, New Jersey community colleges, and at Rider University.
She received a B.A., M.A., and Ph.C. in English Literature from the University of Washington.
As a reading specialist, she has published articles on teaching and has numerous publications, both literary and non-fiction. In 1997, she was Teacher of the Year in
the Lawrence Public Schools and has given workshops on teaching strategies. She has consulted for the Educational Testing Service (ETS) in the development and scoring
of numerous tests, both for students in high school and college and in the area of teacher evaluation.
